Updated Combat Record

Here is my updated combat record after a few days of Noob slaying, I had a second perfect game on Free For All today and another 30-1 and 30-2 games.

I moved up to level 7 prestige on boxing day and must say I love the new logo. I'm tempted to actually stick on this level prestige what do you think? or should I keep going to level 14? And no before you ask there is no way I would go to level 15 I'm already seeing loads of hacked accounts on that level and at no time do I want anyone to say that mine is hacked. On Reflex I stopped at level 9 for the same reason.

Finally check out my new Kill / Death ratio all those 30-something games are really paying off, before Christmas I was stuck on 2.48 KD now I'm 2.63, happy days.

Perfect game

Christmas update, well as I predicted Call Of Duty Black Ops has gone Noob Crazy today, I have never in my life seen so many RC-XD cars and failed care packages in my life. After a morning with the family I manages to get a few good hours of cod in and all I can say is it was well worth it.

For the christening of the Noobs I decided to equip my kill streak with Attack Chopper, Rolling Thunder and finally Attack dogs. Oh how I hurt them......

My first few games in free for all i managed to get a 30-1 27-1 and 30-3, Then over the course of maybe 10 games I never dipped below a 6 kill / death ratio. Finally the crowning glory a 30-0 game breaking my best win streak in the process!!!

So my new best win streak is 22, The is one thing I don't like about black ops is how they count kill streaks. I can understand why they took away the ability for your kills with kill streaks to count towards your next kill streak. It used to frustrate the hell out of me on Call of Duty Reflex when people would use Attack Choppers to get another Attack Chopper. But why have they stopped kills from your kill streak counting towards your overall kill streak my best kill streak is 30 dam it I just had a 30-0 game I just wish that was on my player card???. Answers on a postcard please.

Merry X mas NOOB

Well it's that time of year again, The presents are wrapped, the tree is decorated and the turkey is ready for the oven. I love Christmas time. No don't be silly I'm not excited about any of those things! The reason I love this time of year is you can guarantee a few thousand noobs will have call of duty black ops on there Christmas wish list and for the next few weeks it's going to be the best codding of my life as I face off against no one higher than level 8 and all have names like Mike, John and Billy!

It's a special time as you hunt around a map seeing people trying to climb over invisible walls or are looking in the sky spinning in circles, let's face it we are going to see a lot of suicide this holiday season on summit and I won't even begin to guess at how many people try to walk out of the map on Array.

Unfortunately all this does have one small downside. That's right you guessed it unlimited Nuketown maps voted on again and again and again, all noobs love Nuketown as it finally gives them that one chance to whip out there rocket launcher and for one glorious second blast away some experienced veteran even if that results in ending their own life.

Let's face it there is nothing worse than getting on a 10-15 kill streak moving up into the 20's and a new personal best only to be shot in the back after a nasty re-spawn by a stationary player called 'Greg' who just stands over your body a gasp at what he has accomplished with his 1-23 Kill Death record.

Finally can I wish all my followers and fellow X-team members and Happy Christmas. Hell even the new players keep at it! I was a noob once even if that was back in 1998 on Goldeneye and even then I was still the best.

Combat Record

After seeing other members of my team uploading photos of their combat records I thought I would do the same. I also went up to level 6 prestige today and love my new prestige logo. I would also like to thank [X] White for helping me through my 15 flag captures on capture the flag to get my Marathon Pro nice and early.

Pro Perks

My usual set up of Pro-Perks included Scavenger Pro, Marathon Pro and Steady Aim Pro. I've tried a few variations and there are a few that I sometimes think would help me more but these are the ones I keep coming back to time after time and here are the reasons why.

1: Steady Aim Pro

Overview

Steady Aim reduces the size of the hip fire crosshairs to 65% of their original size. Its pro version reduces the fire delay after sprinting and the knife lunge recovery time to 60% of their original values. Note that the actual knife lunge animation is not shortened; Steady Aim Pro simply decreases the time it takes for the user to put the knife away after a lunge.

Pro Challenges

Quick Melee – Melee two enemies consecutively within 5 seconds.
Sprint Kills – Get 100 kills after sprinting.
Hip Fire Kills – Get 150 hip fire kills using Steady Aim.

I use steady aim for the simple reason that when I run into another player by the time they have brought their gun up to aim and shoot I've already killed them as I have fired directly from the hip i would guess that around 80% of my kills from my primary weapon come from the hip. This is a massive reason why i have a very good Kill Death Ratio at 2.50

2: Marathon Pro

Overview

Marathon doubles the player's sprint duration. Its Pro version gives the player unlimited sprint duration.

Pro Challenges

26 Miles: Sprint 26 Miles using Marathon.
First Blood: Get the First Blood Medal 10 times.
Captures: In Capture the Flag, get the Flag Capture medal 15 times while using Marathon

I use Marathon Pro as I'm a big fan of Light Machineguns, The only drawback to them is they slow you down almost to a snail's pace. Marathon Pro just helps ease the pain of this drawback.

3: Scavenger Pro

Overview

Scavenger allows the player to see and pick up ammo bags left by dead players. These bags replenish one magazine of ammunition for each weapon the player carries and one lethal grenade. Its pro version allows the player to pick up one tactical grenade with each bag and spawns the player with maximum ammo.
Notably, Scavenger no longer replenishes weapon attachments, launchers, or equipment. However, Scavenger Pro does give each launcher an extra projectile.
Scavenger gives the player model a backpack and ammo pouches.

Pro Challenges

Resupplies — Resupply 150 times while using Scavenger.
Grenade Kills — Get 5 Lethal Grenade kills with a resupplied grenade.
Kill Count — Get 5 kills without dying 5 times.

I use Scavenger as I hate running out of ammo especially when you're on a large kill streak. The last thing I want to do is look for a new gun and end up with a shotgun or something equally pointless. Another great advantage is unlimited grenade refills.

New Week

I've had a fantastic start to the week not only have I just reached level 48 so I can nearly prestige again but I had a great run of free for all matches getting 30-2, 30-4, 30-6 and 29-3 resulting in getting up to rank 3 on the Free-For-All leader boards.

I'm mid way through my level fifth prestige, Its going well and it's great to be staying ahead of the majority of people I see online. I have got it set up quite well in what I do when I prestige. Firstly I go lightweight with my MP5 and play capture the flag. This is a great way to Level up early as its high points and easy to knife other players. This enables me to get to work on my Marathon Pro by getting 15 flag captures, once I hit around level ten I switch to a light machine gun and play mostly free for all and Team Deathmatch. with Steady Aim and Scavenger. Once I make level 21 it's the stoner all the way.
